Another assignment for my masters at the Academy of Art University. 16 x 20 oil painting on canvas board. A study in clothing patterns and a challenge personally to see if I could balance the composition. The brightness of the socks needed to be subdued enough to allow the viewer a chance to look elsewhere and especially see the girls face. A really fun challenge.
