Description
When Sage was leaving her violin recital, the car she was in was knocked off the road by another vehicle. She lost her parents that day and was taken in by the Children Eleven Program (C.E.P.) with several other children. They trained them to be mercenaries.

Their constant attempts to control Sage and the loss of her parents wore down on Sage's mind. That's when her mind released Kaz to protect Sage. Kaz showed Sage the true potential of her body and further resist their mind control. The constant disobedience wore thin on C.E.P.'s leader and he had Sage's face disfigured. What they thought was a suitable punishment only allowed Yandere to meld further with Sage's mind.

After having to kill the person Sage considered as her best friend, she couldn't take being there another minute. For the past year, Sage watched and planned her escape from C.E.P. which resulted in the base being shut down. Exhausted by her escape she collapsed near the road and was discovered by a young man named Drake. To keep her from hurting herself or him, he made a wild promise to her that if she let him take her to the hospital he would marry her when they grew up. Even putting a velvet red string around her finger as a reminder.

Later, they would meet again, mainly from her stalking him. Drake had to keep his promise whether he liked it or not, as a chainsaw placed near the neck is a good way to convince someone. They both joined the tournament with their own reasons. Sage's reason is pretty much an excuse to stay near Drake and use the prize money to buy herself the pony she's always wanted to dissect.
