That's really sad about Luc leaving that idea behind with the company. He reckons she's too old now that she's a Mum but I'd sure as hell pay to see her in it still!

Anyway, I've read that Natalie Portman commented she wouldn't mind being cast for a sequel if Luc Besson is directing, but since his former company owns the rights of "Leon: the Professional" I'm not too sure that will happen. Too bad, because I'd be paying to see her in a sequel too!
About ideas for the model. I think a grown-up Mathilda would give up on the hairstyle she had at the time of the movie and go for something practical such as a ponytail hairstyle (maybe something like Jack in ME3?), but she'd keep that choker. Oh, and the glasses and beanie after Leon's style would work just fine! Add a bomber jacket similar to what she wears in the movie, form fitting pants and some kind of utilitarian (kind of military-style?) ankle boots and that's how I imagine "Mathilda: the Professional"!

Hey, that's an interesting interpretation! You know, make her pants a bit more form fitting, swap the jacket for a bomber jacket and she's not too far from my own idea. The hairstyle suits her, I can even imagine Mathilda sporting that haircut under a Leon-style beanie hat.
