Description
This is my first cosplay ever! I have yet to wear it to a con, but I've got tickets to WasabiLand in March I didn't make any part of this outfit, I bought the wig/tail from thefivewits and the dress is actually a thrift store wedding dress that I altered (imagine eighties formal puffy sleeves omg. Rarity, nor I, would ever dare.) Oh, I did make my Element of Generosity necklace! It's made of gold chain, a foam glitter paper, glitter glue, and a purple plastic gem that I had painted with nail polish. My shoes were loaned to me by my assistant, she says they were originally from Target and they were unimaginably helpful in keeping my dress off the ground. I did my make up myself and my photographer was J. Cabanaw, my roommate and good friend. I also had pose, hair, and ear assistance throughout the photoshoot from my other roommate, Naomi.

We took all the photos in and around my neighborhood. It was seventeen degrees out and snowed for the first couple pose/positions, but unfortunately it stopped because it was magical. I honestly wasn't even cold until it stopped snowing and started getting windy, which was after about a hundred photos so we were pretty set, haha. It was so much fun, and I'm psyched to go to the con in March. If it goes well, I would love to attend ComicCon Denver in May, and eventually Nan-Desu-Kan in September! If I get a Summer job, I would also love to purchase a Celestia wig/tail set and make some wings and probably wear this same dress (hence the horribly attached cutie mark, which I'll fix better before March.) Oh, another thing I'd like to mention about these photos. I have a humongous tattoo and a little bitty one, the larger one being the size of the palm of my hand. The larger tattoo was on my inner right bicep and the little one was on my inner left wrist. I photoshopped these out for the sake of accuracy and that's the only thing on my body I altered. My eyes are un altered in all the photos, which I actually get questioned regularly, but thanks to excellent lighting and probably the chilly weather, they were the perfect color for a Rarity photoshoot this morning They're usually a much darker blue, so I'm glad they showed their true potential.

Anyways, I'll be posting a bunch of photos and creating a special folder for my cosplays. Feel free to ask me any questions, comment whatever, and if you post to Tumblr or Pinterest, let me know! All I ask for is credit, otherwise I don't mind where you post them. <3
