Long LONG ago, there was a man. a man of the one! a man of god. this man lived in a town. an empty town!Β
every once in a while he would pray. pray to satan, for he knew not, that satan was unoly.
this man had the figure of a demon bt the intent of a human.Β
He had made his own way of living, for he had lived alone all his life.
The only interaktion he had ever had, was a cold sunday. an early winters morning.Β
The water had frozen and the wind was cold.Β
as the cold wind rolled in and his nipples became pointy. BUT that was not the only thing.Β
as he was on his knees praying, a pentagram started forming on the gruond. his head bursted into flames. and thos! Satan spawned from his skull, and only ONE word was on his lips! "Derp"

Β I would interpret it as one who creates an atmosphere of love and acceptance with a promise of better things to come, all the while it uses and abuses its followers to better itself and itself alone. This is its punishment.

This pulls a man from my head,
a religious leader who spent
his entire life as a contradiction,
then was damned to recite verses of the bible,
without pause,
in hell for eternity as punishment.
The cross on the forehead of your creation
is a small touch that changes the atmosphereΒ
of this piece almost completely,
and I really like the hint towards the pulling of
his jaw towards his feet, per the right hand pulling down.
Cool little piece.

If anything it's a compliment towards the artist,
having more than one individual comment on the same interpretation
is a nod towards his/her ability to paint a clear image/meaning.
...that, or we just think alike.
