pretty sweet, although what's that sword under the Highlander one? that is a weird handgrip.

It is the design of a cobra constricting around the swords hilt. The cobras head is at the end of the hilt.

ah, I see now. Just a design or is it a replica from something?
also, how many of these are useable?

Just a design. The second one from the top is a full tang battle ready katana.

The Nodachi is full tang so is the highlander one and cobra one its just other thing that would stop me from take them to a battle.

the highlander one is off balanced by its big heavy handle.

the cobra ones handle is awkward to hold because of its shape.

And the Nodachi is just to big. someone with katana would kill you before you could draw because you have to draw it 2 times to get it out it is so long unless you are 8 feet tall lol.

The heavy handle would offer you more control at the expense of power, just a note.

yeah, i can see that.

well a Nodachi would be unsheathed well before battle, if i recall the name "Nodachi" means "horse cutting blade" or similar, so it was used on the battlefield alone for dealing with horses, a weapon of war not a weapon of a soldier.

Yes the Nodachi was the Japanese Zweihänder.

Ya you are right but power is what I'm going for because I have such good control of a Katana already even with the light handle.

very much so, some even had a ricasso, does that one?

way to toot your own horn, don't get too overconfident in your skills, you know what happens when people underesimate their opponents.

No it is designed just like a katana just bigger.

And I never underestimate anyone in any scenario in life.

Yeah that's cool. One of my past g/f's had the katana and the large claymore of Conner MacLeod.

I think the price for a good reproduction is up there.
Not sure how many produce a copy, but I have seen a bunch different qualities. Back in the 1990's you could get really high quality sword repo's from a company called, The Noble Collection. The company is still around, but only produce a fraction of what they used to and only for the most popular selling items of the day. But they did have some of the best quality.
it used to be one could walk into a local shopping mall here and you would see a cutlery store and they sold all sorts of swords. But it is not as common. Though I did see a lot of edged weapons at the last gun show I went to.
