After a few days of procrastination I finished my latest Vampire Chronicle piece. This is definitely a fav of mine.. and I'm proud of it's turn out. I didn't want to throw in too much detail clothing wise because it would be too hard to photo it out out the image if I wanted to colour it (which I may or may not get around to doing)
I especially like the way Louis turned out... I think he's rather cute. -=scratches head=- In a way Lestat and Louis resemble the characters from the IWTV movie, don't you think? -=laughs=- I didn't mean for it to come out that way -=tilts head to the side=-
This would also be my first time drawing Claudia.

I'm not overly fond of how you drew their faces. Claudia and Lestat especially look somehow off. Otherwise, I love it! It's really simple, but still manages to feel complete. Great job!

Oh, I love claudia ^^ That's the best picture of her I've ever seen so far. i really did not like how she was in the movie. Honestly I really didn't like the movie at all...

I really like your VC art a lot. I'm on a kick of it myself after having watched the movie again very recently. I have to say, your pencil work here is very nice, in an understated and soft manner. Of the three of them, I like Louis the best as well. I think it's because his outfit is a bit more detailed than Lestat's. I also like the way Claudia's dress fades into a soft ambiguity. Even the line quality of the leaves is striking against that of the fireplace and creates a space for them.

LOL! That's funny!! Dany and Dany are my fav artists -=huggles them=- Maybe I read their graphic novels too much..... I've also notices a bit of their style in my recent works ^_^; Oh well... what better people to model after!!?? ^___^!!
And I haven't decided if I'm going to colour it or not. I don't have any good programs for CG (which I'd really like to do but have never done)...I do have prisma coloured pencils, but I'd much rather see CG work.

As for colouring programs, look into Photoshop if you don't have a tablet, but if you plan on getting a Wacom Graphire or Intuos (tablets), the program to get is definitely Painter (either 7 or

Don't hate! *ducks* It kinda looks like 'Stat has a 'stach. Especially in the thumbnail. However, Claudia looks wonderful! The perfect blend of innocents and psychotic killer. If this is only your first time drawing her, you definatly need to do more.

Oh man, I love it!!!!! Brilliant. I like the simplicity in the clothes, to me it adds to the piece. And Claudia's hair is really really good. I'm bad at drawing curly hair, but you did an excellent job.
