Description
May is a character from the Guilty Gear fighting game series. She is a young, cute, and spunky member of the Jellyfish Pirates, and is utterly dedicated to Johnny, the leader of the pirates and the man who raised her after she was orphaned. She entered the first tournament in order to bail Johnny out of prison, and fights in later tournaments for his benefit. She fights with a massive ship's anchor, which she is able to swing with ease. This is a lovely piece of work that has some real benefits and potentials through lovely use of character anatomy and interesting approach taken in colouring. Your rendition of May is beautiful for the anime format is striking and quite energetic along with the open pany shot included. Still, you have a good understanding of anatomy and the way it is explored here shows potentials.
The colouring though really is interesting, mostly with the rough use of the brush and feature of the other dynamics applied to give it that charm. The rough use of the brush with the clean/softer appliance in other areas work lovely together.
Though the addition of the foreground repeated in the background is a nice touch, it might have been good to see something different to show a wider array of your talents. Still, excellent display of work.
