Description
This started off as a sketch on one of those blue days - where you're just feeling kind of down and don't really know why. You're just a little blue. I started it a loooong time ago (probably a year or two) and just got around to finishing it.
I couldn't help myself with the swirly stripes - I freaking love doing them. She's not a fursona...I haven't really decided where she fits in - but I like her.
She's named Hazalbel I just decided. So that means it could change, but I think it suits her fairly well!
And as for the background, um, I'm trying. One of my resolutions this year is to do more 1. People (haven't done that yet) and 2. Backgrounds. So I'm going to try and flush out more of my work with actual backgrounds. I'm learning, so don't be too harsh on me lol.

This is great! The markings along the neck are just wonderfully designed and the proportion of shape, particularly for the head, is very effective. Keep on going

Thanks! I quite like her! And yeah, backgrounds have never been my strongpoint either, but just like everything else with art - it's all about practice! It's about time I start practicing them more. I'd really like to feel more confident with them and get myself to the next level artistically!
