Is the locomotive on the right Canadian? Becuase i think it might have been that colour scheme that inspired a English Freight Company seen here [link] , or it could have been another one.

Well yes and no, its from the Wisconsin Central railroad which is American, but a Canadian road by the name of, Canadian National bought them out a few years ago, but CN's scheme is more black/white/red [link] , sadly most of 7525's sister engines are destine for scrap.

No problem, yes it is, theve got more than enough power to start a short line at least , some other big operable power includes a BN U30c and CB&Q SD24

Nope, its all just farmland, the ROW at one time was an interurban line, and it parallels, get this, a C&NW (now UP) line!
