That glimmer on the man's chin is so wonderful, and the slight motion of the stealthiness of him! The hat's shape and the darkness him adds such a lovely mysterious quality to the photo. It looks as though he is not quite looking at us, rather, looking around to see if anyone is watching. It gives that strange sense, of watching someone who is watching another person. I like the way the shadow of the railing almost echoes that shadows cast by his feet, like shadow footprints, and the way that the railing seems to point towards him. The crisp rich tones in the stairs are nice too, and the way that they get lighter and kind of glow with light makes it seem like it extends way past the frame. I also like the way the perspective of the stairs draws the eye in. I wonder, was this shot through a window? I see some reflections on the right, which I quite like, but I am wondering also, where this is. It is a great photo =]
