Entry for 's AstroBoy contest.My representation of Astro's soul. I went for a robot VS human thing, it was the best i could come up with. I do believe astro has a dark streak in him, the robot half, which could easily be brought out, but his human side keeps it at bay. Alas, his life is just an inner struggle to stay sane. Poor him *pats*
For the record, this doesnt count as gore. There is no blood. Everyone i showed this to seems to think theres blood..

The red veins are a bit too much, and I didn't notice the blue veins until I got to the leg. But still, that is EPIC. Someone mentioned this contest on Astroboy Online forums; I even think I once considered entering. But holy crap, no contest.

Yeah i tend to get carried away with creepy pics like this, sorry for the veins XD but its was meant to illustrate how fragile his human side was i suppose

The contest should have ended on the 5th november. Havent heard an update yet, oh well
and you can buy them online but they're expensive. Some good art shops near you might have them, i get mine from the local art store

Well the price varies, i've seen them as cheap as £1.50 each and as expensive as £6 each >< where i buy them they are £2.50 each but cheaper if you buy in bulk

Mm, I like to get things in sets. You save money when you buy in bulk, yeah? And I'd have more colors that way, so when I'm drawing, I wouldn't be like "Hay, y'know what color would go good here? Let's put that color there. ... But wait... I don't have that color... *bawwww*". Yeah, that would never happen. ... Well, almost never.
