I'm glad you like it, i love playing with lighting effects, thats the most fun part of any painting in my opinion. I spend ages on filters and effects and stuff to get it just how i want it XD
and the eyes were the whole point of the picture so its good you think they worked out okay, ha ha

great piece, I like how you drew the spider web to stretch to the back as if he's in a tunnel or a cave, I looooove his shiny eyes 8D so pwetty.... anyways, and just like the critique you recieved, you perfected the light and shadow in the pic, oh and nice touch on the shadow of a spider's legs
