Hello,

Long time no see, for reals. I've got a crap ton of art to colour and upload since February and I have not even nearly finished with many of them.
Of those that I did finish was this one of " Akatsuki no yona " I'm sure in one of my past journals I have talked about it. It is a really good anime, but surprisingly not a lot of people have heard of it. I actually read the manga before the series became an anime, but I remember it was good when I read it and the anime is no exception.
It is about a princess in a country that was essentially kicked out of her country one night when her father was murdered and she was framed for treason, It turned out that the murderer was her childhood friend, Suwon, she and her other childhood friend Hak left the country and she decided to borrow power to get revenge.

Lol. that summary really sucks but it's from what I can remember. I hope you guys will correct me if I was wrong.
This is one of those rare occurrences in anime where the female lead is a very strong woman, she is not physically strong but her will is very strong.
I have previously mentioned that it is rare for strong females to be emotional stable, Yona is has both qualities and you cannot watch this show and not support her.
I believe another thing that caught my attention is that it uses multicultural aspects as well, like the Chinese style clothing and the Korean names.

I'm hoping to see a second season of this show some time soon, since I basically forgot everything that happened in the manga, Guess I'll have to wait till that time. I made this art as means of selling it at a local convention soon, but I thought I would share some of the pieces since I might not be able to go.
Anyways, if you have seen this show what do you like about it? if you have not, would you like to see it?
