Description well other than reading The Mortal instruments series I've also started to read another series by Cassandra Clare called The Infernal Devices.
ive so far read only book 1 which is called Clockwork Angel
and its quite good, but i think its too early in the game to make a clear judgement on the series so i'll wait until the series develops more to give my insight.

but i have to say, unlike the mortal instruments, i like both guys in this series, james(jem) and will, i really like their interaction and how they really care about each other..being best friends with my girls..i'm also like that too. i made this fanart based on how the beginning of the book started, and how they found a body in the ally in a murder case. i guess i made jem taller than will since he was described to be broad-shouldered, oh well. what do you guys think?

note: these characters are generated from my pure imagination while reading, so they may not fit the character descriptions the author is trying to make visual.

hello.
i only drew what remember reading, so i'm not a hundred percent sure of what was being described. however as for the colouring and such is based on how I interpret it based the character if i were to change anything then it would not be how i see it anymore. but thanks for your comments!

hey,
i use a program called paint shop pro to color my drawings as of right now but i used to color my art with just pens and pencil crayons. lol. so i don't really know how to achieve the soft colors without the use of a program, sorry!

And LOL. I also draw manga, and I get what you mean on the age-appearences in them. Like in Clannad, Canon, or Air TV, it's so WEIRD seeing the characters as high schoolers. They look so young!

i know, you can't tell a person's age if they are drawn. i don't know about you but for me the girls who are drawn really short like 3 feet high and yet they are like 20....i'm Asian and i know our kind is short but that's a little ridiculous.lol

Actually, I have a bunch of Asians in my school, and most of them are taller than me-- especially the guys. But I guess that's the perks of manga-- no one is really "plain."
