Hello,

A bit of background on this series if you guys are not familiar with this show, this series is called "Produce 101" it is a Korean survival show. Kind of like america's got talent and so you think you can dance it has 4 seasons now and I have watched all them. So I first watched this program in Season 2 only because I heard that Nu'est was going to be on that program, if you have been following me for a long time I was a big fan of Nu'est when they first came out in 2012, if you were wondering why they have not really promoted their music for a while you will figure out why when you hear their side of the story on the show. sadly a lot of groups go through the same thing with their companies and you will see them on this show. I watched season 1 after 2 since I might as well and I liked it for the most part. then there was season 3....and lets not really talk about that mess...
people have their opinions and I'm sorry if you liked season 3 but for me I didn't have a connection with it. I can probably talk about this in the comments in detail but I'm here to talk about season 4 which is airing right now.

At first I was not going to watch it cause of previous seasons and I didn't really like a lot of it to be perfectly honest, but I had an ongoing flu and I needed something to entertain me while being immersed in sickness for 3 weeks and this show was just starting, there was 2 episodes I watched the first one which was the auditions and there's some interesting ones...to say the least, there are some good ones too, at first I heard G-freind's agency had trainees audition for this program and I thought maybe I would cheer for them, but I didn't like any of them.lol. But you guys are like but...who is this you drew if you didn't like any of them?
So...funny story there was a group of boys from the Starship agency ( some K-POP groups from here include Sistar and Monstax , if that helps.) when I first saw them I was like...oh here we go with the cringey fetus vibe....I've seen like 4 of these in a row....
and i didn't think much out of any of them, but for some reason when this one kid was asked to free style dance at the end of their performance and I can tell how freaken scared he was, I felt really bad since their performance was really bad and they kept messing up. I felt really bad when he lost his chance to save himself from being eliminated, he didn't know what to do and he was scared and the judges were like ...guess he doesn't want to/ doesn't want this enough and they gave him an X-grade which means they are eliminated/going home. I thought that was it, only 2 people out of 5 made it , just barely and they were crying...it was a big mess.

So after the first episode was done the X-graded trainees got on the bus and was supposedly was going back home, but plot twist...they did not and they actually went to a special training center away from the dorms for the program and they started special training to get them ready for re-evaluation. But of course most of these kids have only been in their agencies for a couple months so they are really shitty at singing and dancing and literally had to start at the bottom, so what about this kid that made me think ...yes he's the one?...was when during dance training he was not shitty at all, in fact he was really good since dance is he repertoire, it's what he listed as his specialty. one of the dance instructors ( who was the judge that asked him to dance at the end of the audition) praised him for skills and told him I bet you wish you had danced when I asked huh?
lol. he was like...yeah. anyways since he was a specialist he volunteered to help the entire class learn the choreography ( it's for the theme song of the show, they do this every season. but also its for re-evaluation to move up a grade) I guess I should explain how the grading system is established, so there's a grade A/B/C/D/ and X originally it was F but this year X is the the representative member that will be in the group based on total accumulated votes overall, meaning they don't have to be within the top 10 rankings. I'm still learning this as it goes cause they don't really explain this well. anyways, back to the point of this story, he had to teach an entire class of people who have very little experience overall. I don't know if you all ever have taken dance, but showing a group of 20 + people choreography is really hard...he had to learn it first and show a group of people at a time and for someone who has never taught choreo before is like level impossible...he was afraid of telling people what to do especially with his seniors because of the conjugation of speech based on seniority and in the end he got scolded as he was the leader of the group. He was made leader cause he was the only one who knew the choreography enough to teach the rest. He was scolded and ridiculed by the teachers and it made him feel like he's a disappointment to his peers and all he can do was just cry. In retrospect people could have helped him instead of letting him do everything but they depended on him a little too much instead of themselves. So in the end they all cried and worked together to get through this mess. At this moment I thought about how this boy who although is afraid, knew that he was needed at that moment and acted to help the others in this class succeed and put them first before himself. He even said that he hoped he did enough to help everyone while others in the other grades are competing with each other, he said he would just be happy to be enough to perform on stage. " Just being afraid and doing it anyway" is my definition of courage and he is a good representation of that, in fact i believe he was the one who gave them all courage at that moment of weakness. so with that....ladies and gents...that is Song Hyeong Jun.
I cannot even have enough words to express how precious he is, and it doesn't matter if there is giant crowd of people, if he's in frame I will some how always find him.lol. I was not even watching his solo cam performances and somehow whenever he's in frame I would immediately look at him.lol It was kind of like where's waldo, there is like 101 people in these pictures and I didn't find waldo but I found Hyeongjun. I actually went back to watch the PR that he filmed for the show and saw his dance to Gashina by Sunmi and was literally like omg ... damn...son

After episode 2 he became my favorite, I'm the kind of person who is drawn to things that are real, there's no bullshit about him, he is who he is and it makes me want to support a person that is genuinely wholesome and literally a gem and is a definition of a real life hero. In this group, I feel like he is needed and there is place for him wherever it may be in the future. I really wish that I can write this message and put it on this ad.
despite all the hate he gets I want him to realize how awesome he is and how inspiring he is to all ages. In fact this season has a good group of boys who support each other really well and it is really great to see that they encourage each other instead of bring each other down. I wasn't expecting to like this season as much as I do and I'm always looking forward for Fridays when it airs.

I hope I am being convincing you to watch the show, even if their editing is shit and the program is known for starting unnecessary drama at times. But about the artwork which is probably what you really want to know about, I just drew him in his outfit when he was visiting his ad at a subway station in support of him being a contestant on the show, he wore this neon green shirt and an orange bag, which was an interesting fashion choice...lol. but I liked it enough to draw it, originally since many people have said that he looks like a real life Honey Senpai ( Ouran Host Club) I was going to draw him holding usa-chan ( the pink bunny honey always carries) but maybe i'll save that for another piece I plan to draw later.

anyways, those of you in Korea that can vote, please vote for him! I would not say this to just anyone.
