It was the freakiest story ever
the only thing that made me feel good about the movie was one of the zombielike humans showing remorse and giving coraline the marble before he drowned

I'm not saying that Coraline wasn't freaky, because it was. That's something that doesn't change no matter how many times you watch it. It just didn't freak me out or scare me enough to give me any nightmares.

Give it a shot. I was about 12 the first time I watched it, and a few years later when I watched it again with my friends it only got better. You also notice more and get more jokes out of it.

Animation where the 3d model is animated by matching it to a real human who wears a motion capture suit while acting out the scene. Looks like a blue suit with some white dots on it.
