~Grimroth just picked up Ratchet from School but as soon as he sees Ratchet come out of the School building, he sees Ratchet has a sad look on his face as the young Lombax walks up to his adoptive Father.
Grimroth: Hey Kid...are you okay? You look down...
Ratchet: I'm fine, Grim...
But Grim sees that Ratchet is not fine so he thinks of what could cheer him up.
Grimroth: how about you ride on me while we walk back home?...
Ratchet: um...okay, I guess...
The little Lombax was picked up gently and placed on Grim's head.
Grimroth: Hold on...
As Grim begins to walk back to their home, he tries talking with his adoptive son gently about what happened at school.
Grimroth: Ratchet?...are you sure nothing is wrong?...if something is, you can can tell me...you can tell me anything...
The kid Lombax thought...maybe he should tell Grim what happened...
Ratchet: well...some kids at school weren't so nice to me...and they called me names...
Grim certainly did not like that there were kids who were mean to his son...then again, he was eager is ask why and asked calmly...
Grimroth: they did?...do you know why they treated you like that?...
Ratchet: they say I look nothing like the others in the school and I look weird...one called my ears "freaky lookin"...they say I don't even look like you since your my Dad...
Grim worried and thought to himself...."They told him that stuff?...how rude of them..."
But then Ratchet brings up a question.
Ratchet: Grim?...are you really my Dad?...
Grim gets his eyes widen when he heard Ratchet asked.
Ratchet: am I really your son?...
Grim knew Ratchet would ask him that when he's a little older...but he wasn't sure if Ratchet was ready for the truth yet...but Grim knows the right answer...
Grimroth: of course you're my son, Ratchet and I'm your dad. Those kids just say mean stuff like that to you to make you feel bad...don't listen to them...your a special kid...
Ratchet gets surprised...did Grim really mean...everything he told him?...
Ratchet: really, Grim?...
Grimroth: Yes, Ratchet...everything I say is true...
Ratchet begins to smile as he enjoys his Ride on his Dad...

Drew this picture yesterday...this is my very first time drawing Grimroth, Ratchet's Adoptive Father from the Ratchet & Clank Movie and PS4 game!...I do hope we see Grimroth again in future works of Ratchet & Clank...

If you have followed to series enough, Ratchet lost his birth parents when he was a newborn so he doesn't know who his birth parents are

I like to think while Grim was raising Ratchet, he wasn't always hard on him like he was back in the Movie/PS4 game
