She was created and based off of astral diamond to be the seventh diamond and the most youngest of the diamonds. She has some quirks with powers and is able to tell the difference between what is actually right or wrong, she did had tried making a sucessful colony while leaving the living beings there unharmed and given their special sanctuaries. However, she took this to the next level by making her colonies organic sanctuaries to preserve life she did quite some remarkable things such as creating a perfect gem such as a rose quartz who was capable of healing other gems. She did also have the power to mimic any gem perfectly without any flaws but she was limited to how her gem is orientated, she had at least several colonies that were considered elegant by the other diamonds, a lot of them were devoid of life before they were colonized, however, she hid the data on these organic sanctuaries but however, maroon diamond's pearl had the optimum cunning to sneak past the firewalls she had set up and managed to turn those organic sanctuaries into functional gem colonies and managing to cover up what actually happened, silver diamond was in distraught, she then demanded to the others who had done it but after some time having her most finest of elite gems investigate, she soon found out that maroon diamond had done this to her colonies, she was furious and she fought maroon diamond and managed to show maroon diamond that she should not be treated like this. At the sky arena, she spotted goshenite and her pearl and the pearl's gem matched her gem location, she did noticed that goshenite mistreated and had abused her pearl so she took pity on the pearl and chosed her to be her pearl. When she seen what the caste system was doing to the gems of her court, she tried to help them and she partook in the rebellion under the guise of a quartz. Her pearl took on the form of a renegade pearl and her whole court rebelled and went into hiding without the diamonds knowing under the the pretense that they had just vanished along with her. She helped heliodor in the rebellion to free the planet meridian from the tyranny of homeworld. She was found out shortly afterward by goshenite who saw this as a perfect opportunity which got silver diamond shattered in the immediate aftermath of the rebellion, this punishment was exacted by grey diamond herself without allowing the diamonds knowledge of what had happened with silver diamond. To this day, silver diamond was an example as a diamond who has the capability to change.
