(Here's the starter <3)

It was a cold day and the sun was high in the sky, but covered by some pale gray clouds. After the threat of the eagle was starting to die down in Lightningclan, Digitfang found himself to be much more relaxed. He wouldn't of been nervous by the mere threat of the eagle, but rather unsettled by the looming anxiety of his fellow clanmates. When the bird had been a threat, he'd gone out of camp almost everyday to escape the feeling. Now that their anxieties had started to fade, Digitfang found himself hanging around camp more like he used to. And today was a nice day- to him at least. Some cats were shivering and heading back in their dens to warm up, afraid that snowfall would hit soon, but Digitfang found the cool air to be nice against his fur.

The black and white tom was currently lounging under the large tree in camp, resting his eyes and keeping his head against his paws as he let out a large yawn. He suddenly heard his stomach growl, glancing down and sighing. He supposed it had been a while since he'd had anything good to eat.

With that Digitfang stood to his paws after a good stretch and padded over to the fresh kill pile, glancing down and seeing that their were a couple pieces of prey left from the patrol this morning he'd been on. A rabbit, a mouse, and a lizard.. interesting.

Orcawhistle was trooping into camp a bit on the late side and his tummy was uncharacteristically growling. He'd found a scrawny looking mouse on his way home but he hadn't really found it worth the effort to catch and thus had left the little rodent in peace. It had been a long day and he had bits of leaves and grit in his fur from where he had been sitting for most of the it.
The short bulky tom padded slowly into camp and paused to take a look around at the cats who were still up. The sun had mostly dipped below the horizon painting the camp in hues of dark purple and peach. It was somewhat fascinating to see all of his Clan mates with the light faintly coloring their fur. The tom sat for a little while to watch the play of light before his stomach once again reminded him of other things he ought to be doing. He knew the fresh kill pile would probably be pretty low but he headed for it anyways.

She wasn't sure she liked it here in Lightningclan. She'd mostly followed where the majority of the clan went, since Stoneclan still was her home, it was still where her heart was, so she hadn't really thought much about where it was. These cats were all still kind, but it felt wrong. It was like being in a home that wasn't yours, but everyone still treated you like family. Her long tail whapped the ground beneath where she was laying. The day was growing old now, and she was watching the camp lazily. It was pretty, she'd at least admit to that. This camp was open, much like Stoneclan's had been, so being able to watch the land change as it was, watch as the sun began its rest, it was a comfort that she allowed herself.

Some faint movement in the camp caught her green eyes, and if it had been on the edge of her vision, she wouldn't have seen him. An odd, bulky looking blue cat. Immediately her mind went to this cat being some sort of ex-breed - a mill cat. Odd statures and quirks were normal for those cats, and whenever she saw them, she thought they would've been from there. Odd, though. With his size, Lunarstorm would have thought he would've been put in camp or at least forced to be a medicine cat; how did he get through the territory easily? She was lucky her quirk was only with her eye, which was something easily ignored if you didn't notice the cloudiness.

"You still up?" She asked across, not moving from her spot. He was by the fresh-kill pile, and she hadn't eaten herself, but wouldn't just ask some stranger to get her something just based off of pure assumption. "You can eat over here, if you'd like. No harm in some company with it being so late."

Oracwhistle hadn’t realized that anyone was paying him any attention and shifted to find the source of the voice. The she-cat looked familiar though he wasn’t exactly sure who they were, a former StoneClanner, and mill cat before that he was fairly sure. One of the cats who had come to LightningClan when StoneClan had been assaulted by overwhelming odds.
He politely dipped his head to the cat, his face remaining mostly blank. Orcawhistle saw no reason to be rude to the cat and wondered what if anything the she-cat wanted from him. Perhaps they would be interested in analyzing his findings on the swirling dust?
Or perhaps not, Orcawhistle had found that most of his Clan mates did not share his interest in the logic of things.
“Yes, I was out investigating the swirling dust. I was uncertain of what to think but the phenomena does indeed exist.” Orcawhistle was set to continue when his stomach entered the conversation with a growl. He looked down at it, not quite frowning but not happily either. “I think I will join you.” He looked over the fresh kill pile. It was surprisingly well stocked for the time of night and season. “Have you eaten yet?” Orcawhistle asked as he looked back at former StoneClanenr.

She smiled a little when the blue cat looked over at her and she waved her tail. At least he noticed her, she'd feel worse if he didn't. When he dipped his head, she dipped hers. It was definitely weird to see someone out and about so late, but at least they seemed a little friendly? It wouldn't be a chip off her shoulder one way or another, but later encounters tended to be more enjoyable when the cat wasn't an absolute bore to be around. Lunarstorm wasn't expecting what he said, though.

"You were investigating the dust?" She asked, cocking her head slightly. "I wouldn't've thought... I hadn't thought of doing that myself. Good on you." To investigate something like that would take time, and you'd have to figure out what to expect, that sort of thing. "Anything interesting?" She was genuinely curious, not having considered it before, and unsure of what to make of it. Stoneclan had never dealt with weather-based issues like that, or any weather-based things at all. Most of their issues were other cats or animals, at least from what she heard. Even in her time she hadn't dealt with weather things, even in her time at the mill.

Her pokey ears perked at the sound of his stomach. It only reminded her of her own lack of fresh-kill. "Admittedly, no. I think I was waiting, but what for I don't know." She wasn't far from the fresh-kill pile, so she stood sheepishly, making her own way over and grabbing the first thing that she got to - a squirrel, small. Some cats didn't like sharing prey when they ate things, either because it was too intimate or because they were hungry, there were many choices few and far between. The white she-cat quickly went back to her spot, turning in one circle before settling down right back where she'd been hanging.

"I hope you don't mind. Lunarstorm, by the way. I'd love to hear more about your findings on the swirling dust so far, nobody's been as thorough as far as I'm aware."
