Description
Progress so far on the King's Landing Maxi dress, aka Daenerys's first scene dress. The dress is actually just a giant tube of fabric, about 380cm around, with ~142cm drawstring casings at center back and center front, with the sides left ungathered. The metal ring at the back (which I expounded upon here: [link] ) weights the fabric down and pulls the ungathered sides in and keeps them from gaping open.

Still left to do: hem, trim+shoulder draping, and smallclothes to wear underneath (pardon the shiny clear bra straps, those will go away before the final version). And this is a no-wig, no-makeup very quick shoot just to show the progress, so pardon everything else too. Reference pictures from Game Of Thrones season 1 episode 1, and belong to HBO etc.
