My mom has been on my mind much lately with all the breast cancer awareness that has been going on. She left this earthly place about 30years ago due to that blasted disease..wow almost exactly 30yrs ago, when I was the age of the average deviant.
She had a painting of her very favorite place hanging next to her bed, painted by my Uncle and commissioned by my father (he had his moments,) and this reminds me of the exact place. She loved this place and oddly enough it is when I live now.
Thanks for listening to my ramble, enjoy this shot.
I did need to get away and get lost in the incredibleness of life...this series is a lil group of tidbits that tickle my soul.

Oh, it truly is. I am thinking of making a calendar of many crashing waves. I have one now of the beaches, but maybe a new one of the power of the big wave.

That looks like such a wonderful and peaceful place. Great shot too, I can understand why your Mom would appreciate it. It is sad that you lost her at such a young age.

Yes, this was a very emotional month for this old lady.. I am hoping this has brought some closure to opening up all those memories. I hadn't realized that giving so much out there was taking a bit of a toll on me.
