This is a lovely poem! Love the natural and fluid rhyming.

it does not have to be a sad situation remembering passed people (who left us or faded). It also tells you who you are and if you ever loved someone with all your energy it will always remain, no matter what, that is what I read in the last lines and if wrong, it is still true to me

I really liked this poem and it made me wonder if the "you" could be a younger identity (with different friends, different hobbies and interests perhaps even a different personality) that you've overgrown but still remember fondly. I really like this poem!

It is true that it doesn't have to be a sad situation to remember someone or acknowledge to yourself that you did indeed love them. This poem was kind of meant to be the latter and a realization in a period of quiet time. The death referred to was meant to be a death of way of thinking and acknowledging love that was felt but reading it through again I guess it could be interpreted in other ways. But yes, as you say if you love someone with all your energy it does indeed remain - even if, for a while, this is cloaked in denial for some reason. Thank you for commenting. Thanks for the fave.
