Sometimes I can come up with really good names for my artwork. This is not a good example of this. I apologise.

This is a little side project I've been doing instead of math homework while in college. I started it at the beginning of the semester and have finished it three and a half weeks later.

I wanted to experiment with using colored pencils. My parents got me prisma colored pencils for Christmas, so I decided to put them to good use. I discovered that I like colored pencil, but they're actually harder to work with than painting and takes just as long as an oil painting usually takes for me. The results are worth it, though.

The reference picture I used was another pic I took while at Multnoma falls for vacation in 2010, same as my oil painting, Peace of Mind . It's a beautiful area there.

Made using colored pencil, 8 1/2" x 11" printer paper.
