Description
So a friend was asking me about my drawings, what I could draw or not draw. She mentioned that I didn't have very many undersea drawings except for my mermaids. So she told me to draw her a turtle. Turtle!When beginning, I had no idea what a sea turtle's shell looked like, so I started just drawing a design. I discovered that Sea turtles with a tortoise shell on them don't really look good, so I scrapped the entire drawing. This time I had reference pics, and it seems to have turned out fairly well, I think.

^^ thank you! I wasn't sure about the dark background thing while making it. The reference picture had just a dark background, but I normally create a dark background when I have no better idea as to what it is I want to make for a background. I appreciate your comment!

Wow, this turned out totally radical, dude! ... Okay, enough Finding Nemo jokes. Katie has enough of those for you. XD
Seriously, though, this is really really good! The lighting looks nice, and even all across. It's very lifelike. The only things that I can say you could have worked on were the eye, and the background. But I guess pure black works for an underwater shot anyway, so that works.
All in all, great picture! Hope your friend likes it.
