I went with something simple again, and my wrist is at this point, killing me right now, so it's time for another break! Also, it was awesome to see Apple Fritter in this episode. I'm hoping we'll get to see her again, and maybe have a speaking role.

In a nutshell it's not made out of pixels, so it can be made any size and still have perfectly smooth edges. Fonts, for example, are vector graphics.

Adobe Illustrator is the most popular app for vector design. Flash (the program used by MLP's animators) uses vectors too, natively. There's also CorelDraw, I think, and Inkscape which is free but I've never used it for anything except converting between formats so I couldn't tell you how good it is.

I tried figuring out Inkscape for over half an hour. It was too complex for me.

You'd need an image editor like Corel Paintshop Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or Flash. There are some automatic tracers out there, but a machine vector is not going to grant you the same quality if you vector something by hand.

I've seen the stuff like Photoshop and Illustrator. That's a little out of my area. I'll let you guys work on the vector stuff; you obviously know what you're doing.
