For some drawings I have in plans, I needed a "past" version of Viviane... So I decided, why not draw one for my main trio?So have past version of all my OCs! You'll all see them in future works.
-Long-haired Viviane! She used to live in Sufokia, before.Β
-Adamante, wearing her former group's colors. A rough life for her.Β
-Morgan used to look so different...

I'm glad you like it! I knew I wanted her to have long hair but I never drew her with it before, so I wasn't sure if it would fit her. XD And I'm glad you like her outfit!Β

I mean, I would be annoyed if I had made this outfit only for it to be used if a couple drawings. XD But that's definitely not the last time we see her with long hair, because she had them for most of her life, the short hair is a relatively recent development. XD

It certainly would be a waste to use such a good looking outfit once, sadly I know some artist who only use really good one one's and it's always a shame to hear them say that. T^T
Ahhh, that's a bit of a new wonderful news~ ^^ I never think to question if some chracters have other hairstyle honestly, it's like asking what more outfits do they have, you know?

I mean, I can understand why! For example, I really want to make a fancy outfit for Viviane... But when would I ever use it? She never goes to anything fancy enough! XD
True! But when you think about it, it's rare to keep the same hairstyle all your life. I use different hairstyles to symbolise, in a way, the different parts of their lives my OCs are going through! I'm sure you also noticed that both Morgan and Adamante also don't have the same hairstyle. XD

Yeah I actually get your point (and it's a very good one), as they change over the years so might thier hairstyle and style in general too. But waht I'm saying is, when I see a character for the first time, that's the first impression I sort of get, just like you would with any other person.
And yes, I did notice Ada's and Morgan's changes to, no worries! XD

Her daily outfit is pretty fancy too though, sometimes it can be just as fancy to come dressed in something rare and unique too. ^^
Glad to hear you see my point when it comes to hairstyles, but I'm equally charmed to see a chracters hair change every now an then too. Like we'd see Ruel's be shaved at first and see how his beard grow slightly with each episode. XD

Right! My theory so far as why Viviane did get banished from Bonta is because she made something bad (obviously) on a major scale. A scale which couldn't be passed off as a mear simple crime like minor pickpocketing or stealing a stale loaf of bread. Seeing how she was brought before the highest justice instance of Bonta (If I remember your right?) and the punishment she recived ought to also match the crime she commited.
With the more recent facts regarding her powers and how she could implement them to ''effect'' people.
First idea being that I'd imagien she must have gotten ontop of someone she shouldn't have influenced?..Maybe someone in the royal court which she found out was doing funny business behind the scenes?..Or a possible political delegation
from Brakmar she didn't feel came with the best intentions, perhaps? (It would piss of Brakmar too if she did..Which she also did do infact. XD)
I can also picture ''young'' Viviane being very driven for change. For example, how to make things better for the poorest in the city when the high and migthy refused any such changes..Well, a little ''empath touch'' here and there amongst the richest and noblest families in Bonta and- Poof! Suddely she's made them give over large sums of thier savings to the poor...Not exactly looked kindly upon many Nobels I'd imagien, even more so when said Nobels goes to the King of Bonta and demands him to fix and handle this ''no good'' upstarter.
Second idea is that maybe she didn't do anything at all..But the royal court found out/knew of her powers and fear she might turn on them if she remaind with them. And so, in the fear of being turend in to mind droling zombies under her control, they made up some story that she commited terrible crimes, crimes she never commited in the first place, yet became sentanced either way for them?
Thirdly is simialre to the second, but I'd imagien people might see her as manipulative if she ever came to politics? Effecting peoples mind, feelings and opinions is rather wanted in such things as politics after all.
Fourthly there is of course a matter with Octavius, maybe he and Viviane had a run in were she helped him escape, rendering her acomplish to Octavius's action and possible murder?
(Though this part I think you already debunkt my therories on.
These are my theories so far, though I honestly feel strongest about my first idea, the others...Not so much.

You think so? I don't really see her outfit as fancy. A long time ago, when I first created Viviane and wasn't still sure about what she might do, it was supposed to be a travelling outfit. So even if the design is a bit original, it's mostly supposed to be warm and confortable. XD
Those kinds of details are always nice so see! ^^

Unless what you meant is just that she helped him escape, which in this case depending on the situation might be completely possible! XD

I do, as said it makes her stand out but in a very huppermage-ish schooler sense of way. It's a little shame you can't see that fancy side of her outfit the way I seem to, maybe I jsut got bad taste in style and clothings, I am a iop after all.
Though I do agree with you, comfort, warmth and durability above fancy and good looking when it comes to cloths...But if they do look nice it's an equally nice bonus. xD
It would make them more alive, yeah. And not just Ruel's hair, but Amalia's turning from green to a bit of brown as it follows the change of season. ^^

I remember we talked about Viviane helping Octavius out, but what she did to help or if it was after or before the trails in Bonta was a bit more unclear.
Though I'd still put my money it's related to Viviane's power in the end...Be it because she influanced someone she should't have, or she becoming effected herself due to her powers still remains unclear. ^^

When I look closer at it, it doesn't really make any sense and I'm not really sure how she can put it on, so I hope to make something better one day. Maybe she'll lose that coat in the future, during an adventure, and replace it with something else? XD

Personally, I think Viviane's white dress looks both lovely as well as the whole ''getting on/off'' as well...Her jumpsuit makes it a bit more tricky though, you could just add sip on her back or use the straps going over her shoulders as wha'ts holding her suit up. ^^ But as said, I do think the latest outfit you did for Viviane is perfectly for the more adventorous side of Viviane~ ^^b

It deppends in were your intrest lay, you can always write for Breyl, Sélène. OR write a little bit more for Alba and Tyto, it all deppends on what the master creator herself feel like she's up for doing~ ^^

If you look closer, on her stomach you should see a line and next to it the form of three buttons hiding under the fabric ^^ if she wants to take it off, she has to open the golden button above and then those three.
I concluded that nope, it wouldn't have changed anything to her being banished if she didn't have her powers. The story of another character would have ended DRASTICALLY different, though.
