This is a commission work.He is a character of DrawolfTiger
His name is Jai Glar ( Thai : ใจกล้า).
(I think this spelling is the best in English pronounce. But if you are Thai and think it's wrong, please let me know.)
ใจกล้า means "courage / brevity" in Thai language.
Design of his armor originates a samurai armor in Japan and it's a bit including an atmosphere of old Chinese one. His spear is mainly Chinese style.
But I used Thai colors in his design. Gold is a main color in his armor. And I added some green and blue, a bit red. I'm sure "gold" and "white" are symbol color of Thai.
(By the way, I'm sure red is a Chinese symbol color.)
Gold tower in a background is "pagoda". Pagoda is a tower of Buddhism. This tower means "a building where Buddha lives" in Buddhism. Gold pagoda in Thai Buddhism glitters under tropical strong sunshine. It's really brilliant.

And it does have even an historic side... before the Tokugawa esyablished the last shogunate, there was japanese adventurers. mercenaries and settlers over asia I heard.. and a samurai became a warlord, maybe a noble, for the Thai king.. it is?

This drawing make me think and imagine stuff.. In my fantasy world, I have in mind a nation of 'dragonborns', mix of their default culture with burmese, thai and neighbooring stuff. Inspiring.

Because he is still a young teen-age boy.
Actually his arms are also still thin.
But it's hidden by shoulder-guarders.
I think his body will grow up as a strong warrior in the future. ^^
I drew his paws comparatively large.
A boy who has large hands can grow up to a man who has a big body, comparatively.
