Description Photo from my visit to the wastelands.

Two massive excavators claw away at our own flesh. The crust of our planet is extremely thin when compared to it's size, we basically live on an eggshell, relying on an even thinner layer of soil to grow what we eat, to build our civilisation upon. Yeah, it sounds a bit over the top and nature loving, and if you know me, you know I'm not that kind of guy. But seeing these wastelands really makes one think about where electricity is produced, and at what cost. As you can see by the trees on the horizon, the area in front of the excavators is still ountouched. Countless villages lie ahead of them, and they all have to be torn down to make way for this bleak pit.
