This is a cruddy smart phone photo. I left my DSLR at my mother's house over two hours away (tears)
A scene of the stretch in Sault, MI, in which the freighters wait to line up for our locks (a low freighter is included in the painting). The green is lawn for our most beautiful apartment complex. In the distance lies a steel mill in neighboring Canada (that often pollutes our water...). Hence the title.
