that's just kinda inconsistent
since a dog also becomes a human.
even a dokie becomes a human.
So, i guess you could search for possible explanations for why Spike became a dog, one of them, and the real one, it was because it was convenient for the writers. Other, the one I use, is that maybe since Twi and Spike entered at the same time, maybe that caused a kind of interference so he became another thang, but he should have a human version in EG world. You can search for mre explanations to fix this inconsistence, it deesn't rly matter as i highly doubt the show will even address it xD
