Yes indeed, a pirate C: A pretty pathetic one at that, since he's too soft and sissy really, but pfft, haha xD

It is pretty good, what I like is how detail is the hair have you tried to do portraits of you or other people?

Nah, I haven't tried myself or others - I'm not confident in drawing women, so that rules me out, and I don't really draw any others besides my OCs - there's no 'real' people that catch my eye enough to usually warrant me drawing 'em.
Thanks :3

I am not that good either but I usually give it a try, sometimes I even amaze myself! As for OC I always keep creating new ones and kinda forgeting the old ones Ā¬pā'

Sheppard56 In reply to LEO-GENDARY [2013-05-05 16:19:25 +0000 UTC]
Haha, I don't really have that problem because my OCs stick around ;3 They're more literature based characters who occasionally get drawn, so it's hard to forget about them when they're a main character in something, haha xD

that is good for you! I will try to draw mine over and over, but, well, with my job I get really tire and I just want to go to bed most of the time. However why I am awake at this late of the night, well sometimes I need to chill while surfing the net. ^-^

I love your minimal use of color on semi monochrome ones, and thanks for the encouragement/inspiration

Wow, only 3 1/2 years between the two, pretty fast improvement there.
Tentacles...lol...I still draw tentacle-heads...
I think this Alex portrait is my favorite of the three characters here, too. What are you painting in, and where did you get that texture? Is this all just done in photoshop?

Sheppard56 In reply to Peter-CaliferGames [2013-05-03 18:10:46 +0000 UTC]
Thanks C: It's all done in Photoshop with the standard hard round brush with pressure sensitivity on etc etc. The texture's from - [link] - I'd just forgotten to link it in the description as I'd done with the other two >.> It's two versions of the same texture on top of each other, one at 100% and on multiple, the other at about 45% on divide and moved slightly to one side ;3

Oh ho~my. What lovely eyes you have Alex, m'dear. I ... hmmm.
okay so brainfart because suddenly i can't think of anything to say but then i guess maybe a stupid comment with lots of words that don't actually say anything is still better than no comment....
OR MAYBE NOT, COME ON BRAIN
I AM SO SORRY

askghlahdslk nuuuuu I knew it :c
:'D
omg unrelated note but I just learned that "quite" in Britain means something different than how I would use it; like, when I say I quite like something I mean I really like it, quite = very much, a lot. But then somebody said Brits say quite = mildly, meh. (or something, I'm so smrt) IS THIS TRUE??? And if so, if I ever said I "quite liked" your art or anything along those lines, know that I meant I liked it very much, not "meh" okay??? D: alghakldsghakfhlk *tiny language barrier*

I totally typed out a response to this then thought, pfft, we should talk via note because we could have so many awesome conversations off of art xD (or it'll die instantly, but I TRIED! xD So your answer is in the note I'm about to send 8D
