Description
Don't draw Alex nearly enough and since all I want to do is portraits of late, he had his turn ;3 But rather than just leave it greyscale, he gets a slight sepia tone, 'cause he's all 18th century-y as a pirate an' all 8D I just rarely draw him because I never feel I can get him right/do him justice - he's my oldest character and I'm always sceptical about getting him down on paper. Still, I'm happier with this than anything I've done recently in the past year (aka the two thumbs at the bottom, both of which are meh). Which is, like, two things, haha xD

It's not like I have better things to do than draw constantly at 1am. It's not like I have essays up to my eyeballs on Roman marble ships, museum websites, dissertation crap and an old boat full of Playstation controllers and toilets to write >.>

And just for the lulz since I was looking back at Alex pictures... for those who get disheartened about their artwork - I swear, you can improve and you will improve, 'cause look at the state Alex was in 3 and a half years ago xD If I can make him look at least half decent in that time and get rid of those horrible tentacles on his head, you can do something similar xD
