Description I have been working on this all summer! The pattern I used came from an old (old-old!) set of pattern books I was given - it was a pattern for a carasole horse. I changed it a bit to become the unicorn, and made the legs moveable with buttons (they turn 360 degrees!) The hair was much easier than I imagined to thread. I originally planned to embrioder swirly scrolls on the legs, but I think it would be too much. She also has a large set of fairy wings I crocheted in the same color as the horn that I added after the picture was taken.

I used a baby yarn (color-pink sparkle) for the body (double stranded), caron ss for the hair and lyons brand for the horn.

*if you can see the eyes, I painted hearts on black teddy bear eyes for pupils! This is my first attempt at painting eyes.

Thanks so much! This is the first time I've tried moveable legs, and it was actually easier than stitching them on.

What a pretty pink unicorn!

....not often I get to say that.

Anyway, What an awesome plush! The movable legs are a brilliant touch, and the heart eyes are just too cute,

Thanks! I went through three pairs of eyes before I got a pair that matched (kind of hard to paint on a round surface). I hope the paint doesn't rub off too soon!

Thankyou! Funny, I almost consulted you on this one. I got to a tricky spot, and thought, "who do I know who is good with plushies?" I figured it out though.

The moveable legs was a last minute idea, and I'm so glad because I got out of stitching them on!

:hugs: Thankyou!

Pink.

Yes, her obsession for pink seems to be growing, I thought she would start to grow out of it, but not yet. *imagine 10 years from now, Ari with hot pink hair!*

Anyway, it appears more pinky in the picture. The body yarn is mostly white with a hint of pink, blue, and yellow variegation, but more of a hint of pink than the other 2. I thought the burgendy would even it out some, yeah? You haven't seen the wings yet! They're pretty fabulous, but hard to capture in a pic.
