Autumn has arrived. Everything's turned into your color seems to make you surprised.Talking about this piece, I'd actually done it since Jan 2013, which is almost 2 years ago already. (yeah, time flies.) It was the first pic I did for the Art book project I did with my friends, Petits Fours this year, so it's been kept for quite a time.
Looking at it, I still like this picture although I realized my style of painting has changed over the years. Maybe it's the Autumn-ish scheme I'm always in love with.

Very beautiful, natural and serene. The implication of the classic top-down gradient is seen in a fresh way, as the darkness and light are both expressed in colour, respectively orange and blue. The way the perspective is set in combination with this gradual lightness gives the impression of optimism, happiness and uplift; as the eye is drawn up the piece through the well-placed stepping stones, it transitions through darker shades to finally reach the canopy where the light shines, giving a sense of brightening. The vibrancy of the oranges and yellows in contrast with the blue is highly effective, and only further enlightens the mood. Very nice work!

This is very nice. I love the colors. Ive always wanted to learn how to paint. I mostly stick with pencil though, because nobody has ever taught me XD
