Warning: Once again I'm warning about Romano's foul language, but really... No likey, no read. Simple as that.

You fell asleep again some time during the examination, and when it was done Romano tucked your frail form in again before leaving the room with England and Italy.

They went back to the living room to not disturb your sleep.

“So... What did you find out?” Romano asked England nervously.
“Before I answer. I need you to answer some questions, Romano.” he retorted.
Romano growled slightly before grunting in agreement.
“Well, first off. Who is this girl?”
“I just found her in my tomato garden one day, like I said before dammit, and she was seriously ill, so I decided to take care of her.”
“I see. Then my second question is. What is she to you?” the Brit inquired.
“Well... I don't fucking know but... I got this feeling that I want to protect her. It well... I just hate seeing her so damn sick and weak!” he shouted.
“She's our little bambina!” Italy piped up.
“I see.” England mused. “Well... As far as I can tell, physically she has what it takes to recover, but mentally... She doesn't. Her mental scars are stopping her from getting better. She's doing this to herself.” he said, shocking both Italians.

“Her eyes tells me that has very little will to live, even for her young age. Something in her past made her hate and loathe the world. That past also has something to do with her distrust in adults.” he continued. “For her to pull through, I believe certain measures needs to be taken.”
Romano glared at him dangerously. “If it's something bad or dangerous, I'm going to kill you!” he threatened.
“No no, it's nothing like that! My idea is that you inject some of your blood into her.”

Romano just stared at him. “What the hell?”
“If you do that, I think your immortality and wish for her to get well, will push her body to accept food and treatment, and thus recover.”
“How many times will we have to do that shit?” Romano asked.
“Once or twice.” England answered.
“Will there be any consequences?” Romano asked cocking a questioning eyebrow.
“That won't happen if that is what you're inquiring.” he said calmly.
“Bene. That's the last fucking thing she needs!” Romano growled, then he sighed. “You sure she won't make it otherwise?” he asked.

England nodded. “Once your blood is in her veins she will get better, but she will not be entirely human.”
“What?!” Romano snapped.
“Her lifespan will be increased, because of the immortality in your blood, other than that there won't be any other effects.” he quickly added with his hands up in defense.
“And you're sure she will get better?” Italy asked, worried for you.
“Yes, positive.”
“Bene.”
“Well, I'd better get going now. Good day, gentlemen.” And with that England left the two Italian brothers to ponder about what he just told them.

“Fratello. Who should be the one to do it?” Italy inquired carefully.
Romano thought about it. “I will do it. I'm the one who found her and began to take care of her, dammit!” he said. Then a thought occurred to him.

'How the fuck am I gonna give it to her?!' he thought angrily. 'She barely allows me to touch her, I doubt she'll allow to me come up to her with a fucking syringe with some damn weird red liquid in!'

“Fratello, are you okay?” Italy asked.
“Yeah, I'm fucking fine!” he growled at his younger brother. “It's just-- How the hell are we gonna get her to allow her to come close to her and give her a shot?!”
“I don't know, fratello.”

Eventually they agreed to try and give you the shot anyway by saying it's a medicine that will help you get better. That the blonde man that had examined you had told them what to give you, which wasn't exactly a lie, but not completely the truth either. They also agreed that Romano would be the one to do it, since you trusted him more.

Romano went into 'your' room and found you asleep as usual. Any doubts he had about doing this flew out the window when his gaze set on your thin and frail form. It was clear you were malnourished. You could faintly see the outline of your ribs and your breaths weren't exactly the calmest ones around.

When Romano came up to the bedside he reached out to you to gently shake you awake, but then you started murmuring and stirring in your sleep.

“Daddy... no... please don't... No... Daddy...!” you panted out between your heavy gasps of air that was your breathing.

Romano became worried, what kind of dream were you having? Or was it some kind of memory? He didn't know but he figured it would be best to wake you up, and reached out and grabbed your shoulder. He gently shook you to wake you.

You opened your eyes tiredly and had a tired but flustered look in them. Your eyes darted all over the room until they finally set on Lovino's.

“L-Lovino...?” you huffed.
“Sì, it's me. You were having a nightmare.” he said.
“... I-I don't wanna t-talk about it...” you mumbled, then your saw that he had something in his hand. “... W-what's that?”
“It's uhm... Uhm...” he stuttered and took out a syringe with some weird red liquid in it. “It's something to help you get better.” he said.
“... I don't wanna take it...” you muttered and tried to turn on your side but only managed to turn your head to the side.

“Just let me give you the shot!”
“No...”
“[Name].” Lovino said firmly.
“No. Shots hurts.” you persisted stubbornly.
“The man with the eyebrows said to give this to you. It's the only way to help you get better, and it won't hurt that much.” Lovino insisted, trying to persuade you.

You bit your lower lip. “... A-are you sure it won't hurt?” you asked.
“Just a little, so let me give it to you. You'll feel better afterwards.”
“...”
“Don't you trust me?”
“I've already given you my answer to that.”
Lovino sighed dejectedly. “No, you don't trust me, but you trust me more than others.” He quoted you. “But don't you trust me enough with this?”

You didn't say anything but nodded ever so slightly. Finally having your permission, Lovino gave you the shot and injected the red liquid into your veins. After he injected it into you he immediately noticed your eyelids started to grow heavy again.

“Go back to sleep, bambina.” he said and patted your head, then he placed his warm hand on your cheek. You leaned in slightly in his hand and started dozing off.
“Grazie... papà...” you murmured drowsily before you fell asleep once more.
Romano smiled softly at your now more peaceful sleeping figure.
“Non c'è di che, tesoro mio [You're welcome, sweetheart].” he whispered to your sleeping form.
