Description
After a successful evening patrol Brian and Corporal reflect on how many enemy aircraft they had shot down when suddenly they heard a bellowing sound but there was nothing but clouds around them. "Brian you need to change the filters on this flying can". With a disgusted look on his face Brian replied, " Ahh shut up Corporal, the transmission's a little shaky thanks to you," "Just don't fall out of the turret again".
The sound became louder and both men became worried. "Brian........everything okay there?" and Brian responded, "That ain't us......". Corporal swiveled the turret guns aiming to the 6 'o' clock position of the aircraft with his eyes scanning the valley of clouds.
Suddenly a loud swish and a metallic roar echoed in the distance and a giant warship burst from the clouds. Corporal leaned over the front side of the turret and screamed at Brian, "Get us out of here! Go! Go! Go! Get us under the clouds Now!" Brian glanced at the review mirror and his jaw dropped.
Brian responded, "Oh $h!*........."
The Admiral had sent one of her warships to regain air superiority over Southern Province with specific orders to target Brian's plane The Dragonfly.

I came up with this one as part of a story. The Dragonfly is a custom built heavy fighter with a special tail area being able to swing in the wind and propel the aircraft to very high speeds giving the plane it's name.

I drew the lineart on paper and scanned it into photoshop CS5 and colored it. I didn't know what to do with the clouds so I just let imagination take over
