Hehe, kids... I don't remember that feeling anymore, I've had too many shots and blood takes in my life. Although now I can do it proudly standing.
Don't worry, squeaker, by now you've had bumps and cuts that hurt much more, and you were still laughing. ^__^'

Shots sucked as a kid, but not anymore! At least not typical faire like flu shots and such. Now, blood tests? That's another story... eeuugghh...

I've had much worse happening to me too, but blood tests are still something that I dislike a whole lot, mainly because of the weird sensation in your arm that lasts for a few days after ^^"

Ouch! The nurse may have cut your veins from inside. Luckily it never happened to me but in every hospital my room-mates told me scary real life stories of shots and drop counters put wrong and medicine went under the skin and it made awful bruises and worse... And this Summer I witnessed it myself, when my room-mate had his vein kinda... over-dragged and it turned blue and was sticking out a bit. So I always watch carefully over drop counters to not get any air-bubbles or a wrong spot. Yeah, terrible feelings. Not as much pain but letting someone pierce your body feels... strange.
Well, back in those days... when you come for physical examination at school and you get a surprise injection - that was a shock.

Maybe there are more bad surprises than good ones, but this ain't stopping me from seeing life as a kaleidoscope of colors ^.^ Life is so tough and energy-consuming, but when you catch a breather you can reflect on all the wonderful things you got to experience and think about the good in the present moment, and that can be anything from listening to music to discovering something new
And that's a wonderful intent, passing genuine feelings ^.^
