I like this image a lot but I find the two other objects in the top of the frame distracting. Cropping them out really draws your attention to the wonderful repetitive forms of the plant against that great sky.
The stem running at a diagonal does a terrific job of giving the picture the dynamic tension it needs.

And the skies always had little fluffy clouds...
And they were long and clear...
And there were lots of stars, at night...
The sunsets were purple and red
And yellow and on fire
And the clouds would catch the colors everywhere
it's neat because I used to look at them all the time
