Description
This is a quick watercolour pencil portrait of Irina Bilyk I did on december 2017.I wanted it to be as simple as possible and I also wanted it to remind 50's pin-up artworks.
I used:
Van Gogh watercolour paper. Caran d'Ache watercolour pencils and Winsor & Newton turquoise for the foggy background.MORE WATERCOLOURS:

Yes, Caran d'Ache. I recently bought Bruynzeel watercolour pencils and I like them, but I still prefer Caran d'Ache.

I love them. I used to draw with them a lot when I was a teen. Now I've come back to them.

I've got a drawer full of pencils, chalks, water soluble oil pastels, Sakura water brushes - unopened! I thought I'd give it a try a year ago! Maybe next year!

You're right. If I don't try, I can't fail, so I put it off! My preferred medium has been acrylics. I've got to take the plunge with watercolor!
