to be honest this happened to me once in school and once at home. at school i uploaded a story and for a couple of minutes everybody kept asking me what i was doing and watched me D: at home my sister saw me browsing your profile, specificly this: [link]
and as she likes wolves as much as you do she bombarded me with questions.

Ah, well, it's nice to have somewhere to go and not be followed by people sometimes. Only my best friends and family know about my DA account, and I am glad they don't have accounts, as they would try and embarrass me xD Such nice friends I have

I don't think they are to blame for it. It's the media trying to put this 'perfect' idea into people's minds that's causing it.
I don't see much wrong with social sites myself, just aslong as you are very carefull about what you put on there
