Description
It was a couple days after the day you confessed your feelings to Ivan, which made you feel a whole lot better even though things were going to be way different than they were before. You were sitting outside Ivan's house daydreaming about what the future would be like for you and Ivan now.

Your imagination was interrupted when you heard footsteps belonging to more than one person walking in your direction. There was a little chatter heard among them, and their voices grew louder as they approached.

"Can we just go home? I know we just got here but I know that Mr. Russia will make me shrink in size again and I'm already scared," a young boy's voice spoke.

"Not yet, he said there was someone here he would like us to meet. You can live for another fifteen minutes can't you?" a second voice told him.

You looked over in their direction, instantly knowing that they were countries. There were three of them, one short one, and the other two were pretty average height. The short one had short light brown hair and looked much like a young boy. The next one had wavy shoulder length hair and seemed like a pretty nice fellow. The third also had short hair and wore glasses on his face. He seemed rather quiet by the looks of it.

They stopped once they saw you outside and you just stared at them in an awkward silence. You slowly rose to your feet as you thought about what to do. 'I'll go get Ivan…'

"Um, I'll go get Russia, be right back," you bolted into the house and found Ivan in the living room watching some random Russian TV channel.

He smiled when he saw you walk in but then his emotion turned to confusion when he noticed you were running. "Why are you running?"

"There's some countries outside your house…I didn't know who they were so I came to get you," you explained. "Did you ask them to come over here and meet me?"

"Da, how did you know?" he got up and walked over next to you.

"I overheard them talking about it…" you kept a blank expression.

"Oh, let's go meet them, shall we?" with that Ivan grabbed your hand in his and tugged you back outside to greet the unsuspecting guests.

"Sure…" you said under your breath.

You and Ivan now stood across from the three other countries, a tense atmosphere growing between the five of you. You were feeling kind of awkward and slightly hid behind Ivan. The other countries watched you and Ivan strangely and seemed to be nervous and shaky.

"_______, this is Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia. The Baltic States," he pointed each one out as he said their names. He pulled you out in front of him.

"Hi…I'm _______. Pleasure to meet you three," you pushed out a smile, wondering what Ivan told them about the two of you. Lithuania, the one in the middle, reached out his hand towards you. You took it in your free hand and shook it just like any other introduction. Ivan kept your other hand gripped tightly in his. You looked over to Ivan and saw him watching you with a smile on his face.

You turned back to the other three countries, which now seemed to be frightened when they saw Ivan smiling. They weren't used to seeing him being so happy like this.

"Will you excuse us for just a second please?" Lithuania asked as he huddled together with Latvia and Estonia. They began to whisper among themselves, leaving silence between you and Ivan.

'This is awkward….I wonder why they're acting like this. Is it because of me, or is it Ivan?' you felt yourself leaning into Ivan. 'Please let this strangeness go away soon.'

"_______? What are you doing?" Ivan glanced over at you.

"Sorry am I bugging you?" you brought yourself back to normal standing position.

"No, that was kind of cute~" he giggled.

'So just leaning on him was cute?'

The Baltic States ceased their whispers and faced you and Ivan once more. Lithuania seemed like their spokesperson and did most of the talking.

"Mr. Russia, what is your relationship with her? She's not a country is she?" he regretted asking that as soon as the words left his mouth.

"No, she's not a country. But we're-"

You stepped in and interrupted Ivan. "I'm the daughter of a human and a country. So I live just as a country does…and I'm a special friend of his. Very special as you can see…" you looked down at your hand that was interlaced with Ivan's. Lithuania followed your eyes and immediately understood what you meant.

"Oh, that's interesting. So which country is your father?" he was careful with what he was asking you.

Roman Empire…" you murmured quietly. You weren't meaning to be so shy.

"Your father was the Roman Empire?!" he was instantly shocked. "You must be strong like he was then."

"I guess I am. I never lost a fight I ever got in when I was little. And I guess since I'm Russian that makes me intimidating like Russia here. People were afraid of me back then…" you explained. Lithuania froze when he heard you were Russian.

"So…you're like Russia too then? I suppose you'd enjoy picking on us like he does…" he looked down sadly.

"No, I won't pick on you. I would like it much better if we were friends…" you freed your hand from Russia's and gave Lithuania a hug to show you mean no harm. Then you whispered in his ear "If you'd like I can talk to Russia and get him to quit picking on you guys." You then took a step back.

"Thank you so much," he whispered back. "That would be much appreciated."
You continued to whisper to him. "So why does he pick on you guys so much? And are you friends of his?"

"I wouldn't really say we're friends…we're more like conquered countries that belong to him…" he replied quietly.

"Oh…I'm sorry about that, but I'll help you guys in any way I can," after saying that you went back to normal volume. "So we can be friends, right?"

"Of course! That'd be nice," he nodded.

You retreated back to Ivan's side with a half smile on your face. "So how long are you three planning on staying here?"

"Well it was quite a trip so we're going to stay here for a couple days. Mr. Russia already agreed to this so I hope our stay won't bug you." Latvia chimed in.

"Not at all. I'm actually quite glad you'll be staying with us, because we can get to know each other better," the thought of having three more friends made you happy.

After five minutes of silence you decided to go inside, the countries following shortly behind. You went into the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water. Sitting down at the table, you saw Ivan walk in and barricade the door shut with a chair. 'The hell is he doing that for?'

"What were you two whispering about?" he wondered.

'Ah that's why…' you thought and drank some water. "I was just telling him about us, that's all."

"But what was the hug for?" Ivan sat across from you, making it seem like he was interrogating you.

"It was a sign to show him that I mean no harm. Did that upset you?" you asked, finishing the rest of your water after you were done talking.

No answer.

'I'll take that as a yes.' You got up from your seat and walked over to Ivan. "I have something better for you than a hug." You did hug him, but you also gave him a kiss on the cheek hoping it would make him feel better. "Better?"

"Da, but you forgot something," he replied.

"What did I forget?" a confused expression grew across your face.

"Three words, you told them to me a couple days ago remember? In Russian," he hinted.

"Oh…," it was already hard enough for you to tell him that one time. 'Maybe I can say them quietly and hope he won't hear me.'

"Unless you were lying to me…" he acted sad even though he was truthfully just trying to get you to say it.

"I wasn't lying to you. I seriously meant what I said," you walked over to the door and then faced him again. "Please don't be sad. You know I do."

"Then why don't you say them to me again? I'll be upset if you don't," this sounded a little like a threat, but in a much more unhappy way.

You slowly pushed the chair away from the door with your foot. Quietly you said "I love you..."

"It doesn't count if I can't hear you," he got up to his feet and slowly made his way over to you.

You sighed. "…" the chair was almost out of the way of the door by now. You spoke a tiny bit louder "I love you." You stared down at the ground, feeling your face turning a little red.

"I'm sorry but I still can't hear you. Speak up, da?" he was now in front of you and you felt his eyes staring into your soul.

'He's not going to hurt me if I don't say it louder will he?' Your foot remained in its spot on the chair. You felt yourself gulp after thinking this thought.

You felt his hands come down on your shoulders suddenly, causing you to jump and kick the chair over. The chair made a loud thud when it hit the ground. You looked up at Ivan expecting him to be making his Kol face, but instead he seemed really upset.

"You won't say it for me?" something kept your eyes glued to his.

"I-I will…." You hated how upset you were making him and you started to feel pressured. It continued for another thirty seconds before you felt yourself backing away. Now was the time to say it if you wanted to make him feel better. "I lo-,"

Your left foot caught onto your ankle on your right foot as you stepped back again, causing you to stumble back. Since Ivan had your shoulders in his grip he moved towards you as well and the force caused you to lose your balance and you both fell onto the floor. You were on your back and Ivan on top of you.

He lifted himself onto his hands and knees when the kitchen door was suddenly thrown open. Everything was quiet until you heard someone walk in the door.

"Hey is everything okay in here? I heard a loud noise so I wanted to see if you guys were-" Lithuania's voice trailed off as he saw the position you and Ivan were in.
