I really do love him as I like my country but.....that bird(ok,that wing)looks just soooooooo bad!!!!! ORZAlthough this image was drawn long time before but I think I am truely bad in drawing things like birds at that time.

Serious china is serious. You know, he never does seem to wear that expression often in the manga, does he? I think I like it. 
These kind of styles always tend to make me jealous; the colouring is very solid, which I do think adds to the overall affect of the picture. Nicely done!
(And I would like to add, though I'm kind of an amateur artist, I personally think that the wing in the corner looks fine, but, whatever.)

When looking at fan art of china it usually is either way to girly or he looks like a guys but doesn't look like himself. I think that you actually managed to capture him without going to one of those extremes.
