Your winking smiley seems to carry a hint of smugness, because you know this picture will drop jaws. I at least was speechless when I saw it in full view. Just woah, the shading, everything... how long did it take you to draw?

My God, I must admit that I don't remember. It was two years ago after all. About three hours, I guess. You know, it wasn't that complicated - the pose itself is rather simple, the face is something I love to draw so it couldn't have taken much time, then I just had to fill the space with these various lines and flourishes

Win. i wish naruto, both manga and anime, still put this much effort into their work. it just seems like they are running off of drama and plotline, nothing else. Seriously, look at a fight in shippuden, and a fight from the genin arcs. Kudos to you.
