...What's wrong with my titles."VKai will probably be my otp", I said before I watched Zexal.
"VKai is cute but it's not really that interesting", I said as I watched season 1.
"Chris and Kaito are damn married" I said as I watched season 2 (and after talking about them so much with Mina).
KaiRyo is still my favorite otp but VKai is still really important to me.

I love them! They're my favorute Kaito ship after KaiRyo (and really close to it) - and definitely my favorite (and currently only) ship for Chris. They're just so adorable I can't not ship them.

It's a shame we didn't see Chris carrying Kaito. (Why did it have to be off-screen) It was the scene somewhere after Kaito and Heartland dueled and Yuma and Astral came back from Astral World.

I have to say this ship it me hard even in the beginning. The scene that got me was the flashback of Chris leaving Kaito when they were younger (The feelz xD)

I shipped their younger selves a lot since beginning too! They were really cute and I just love relationships like that. But their older/current story selves weren't that interesting to me (because Chris was pretty jerk to Kaito), I liked them more during end of their duel but they had so less time while being like that so it didn't really catch me that hard. x'D Seeing them being like that more in season 2 made me like them much more.
Yup, Chris belongs to Kaito (and he is, too, like 1000% gay so I can't really even imagine him being interested about girls).
