My first page of Shieldman's foray into the Original Character Tournament scene. I took so long on this, probably because I've never had to color a full page before.
I hope I can get better at a bunch of things, like perspective, with this tourney. Color, too~ It's always been an issue.
I tried a new mode of doing the lines- I thickened the outside edges of each figure to accentuate the subject. Did it work?

That's really good. Coloring must have taken forever though. I normally use Copic Markers when I color, they take less time than colored pencil. You're idea of thickening the outside edges was nicely carried out as well.

Well, I was working with what I had. Up until about three months ago I didn't color EVER, so I had very limited choices-- mainly, what I had for school projects. -___-;

Vector... it's like completely lining and coloring it with a program such as Flash, Fireworks, Illustrator, or Photoshop, using mainly the pen tool (or line tool in Flash).
