These past cute pieces have been such experimental grounds, and I can easily say it's turning into something wonderful. I'm not one to like solid-edge shading when actually drawing, but these have actually made me kind of change my mind a bit.

With the baby Ender Dragon piece, I experimented by using dots, and a bit of tinkering with shading. In this, I tried the dots again, as well as really going "all out" on shaking my shading method/style up. I even made a last minute change to the line colour, which I'm so glad I did, because purple lines look SO much better than standard black.

While this won't become my main style, it's one I think I'll be using more in happy/cute art.
