So.. welcome to the first part of my August Gift Giving because there are many a gifts to be given during this month lol. This is meant to be wallpaper for a friend, who has complained in the past about the difficulty in finding merchandise featuring their favorite Sanrio character Pochacco (at least, in our local stores), due to the overabundance of merchandise of more popular characters. Like, y'anno, Hello Kitty. Said friend also likes tea, so... this was the result lol. I've been needing to do more fanart anyways xD Disclaimer, Pochacco (and lil birb friend) belongs to Sanrio. Just covering my bases here, since if there's anything scarier than Disney when it comes to rights over their characters, it's Sanrio lmao.

Working on this was very simple but sweet, especially since the characters themselves aren't all that complicated. I may not have gotten the style exactly right, but it wasn't hard getting it close (There's plenty of references lol). For the lineart, I used a version of the g-pen to get the rougher lines. The tea set is vaguely based on actual Sanrio tea sets (which usually features a certain cat). I was going to add more to the background, but after trying out a couple of different ideas, I decided that simple looked the best. Since this was meant to be a computer desktop background, I figured that there would be more than enough clutter with the desktop icons lol.

The next part of August Gift Giving (I need a better name for that) is pretty much finished already and will be up in a few days. I've drawn some pretty strange things, but this next one is probably going to be one of the strangest lmao.
