Description
Those are, of course, the monastery's bells. A very famous Bulgarian writer wrote a poem about the monastery being attacked and burned and a monk who stayed to hit the semantron (not sure if that's how I should say it but meh...). He was inspired by the same semantron's sound (it's right under the bells).

If you don't know what a semantron is (cause I didn't before I saw it, lol) that's an instrument used in monasteries to summon monks to prayer or at the start of a procession. It's made of a long, well-planed piece of timber and so on (copy-paste, thank you wiki). It basically looks like a giant plank, hanging from the ceiling like the bells.
