Tai watch as all his friends reunited with their parents. He smile softly as Matt blush and pat his mother on the back awkwardly. She didn't notice and was talking to her sons(TK was in his father's arms) about having dinner tonight.He notice Joe talking excitedly to his brothers. His arms barely keeping up with his mouth. Tai felt pity for the brothers, knowing Joe would talk good into the night about their adventures.
Tai blink before turning to face Sora. He look confuse as she quickly looked away as she continue to talk to her mother. Sora's mom only smile as she hug her daughter.
The loud girly cries of joy hit his ears and he sigh. Of course Mimi couldn't be quiet in anything. Shakes his head as all three Tachikawa dance in a circle hugging each other tight.
He could also see Izzy in between his parents, in a quiet conversation.
It was really something. After everything...they finally-
"Tai?"
The young leader turn brown eyes to his sister. Kari was clinging to their father's leg. He notice his father was smiling down at him, a hand ruffling Kari's hair.
"Well? Are you coming with us or what?" Tai's eyes water as his mother stood there, hands on her hips and a smile on her lips.
"I promise, no strange cooking tonight." She teases as she watch her son tremble and took a shy step forward. Her light brown eyes widen as Tai nearly tackle her. She was about to scold the boy when she felt his body shake.
He was crying. Tai didn't know why. He just was fill with a overwhelm feeling to hug his mother. It felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders and he could finally cry without the dangers at every turn.
Yuuko Kamiya smile softly as her son grip her shirt. She notice her husband moving to take Kari to the car, she hug her son tight to her body as he wail into her shirt.
"Welcome home Tai."
Blame Humon's Troll and Light Elf picture. I got the song stuck in my head cause of her! (but I do love her work!
)Though it was hard to do this, even after all this time. I still miss my own mother so I got a few tears drawing/writing this.

Yuuko Kamiya (Tai and Kari's mom) is quite attractive, and in my opinion, has nice looking legs and feet

In my opinion, this art would have been a little better without the story, but the art itself is really cute. I though of the scene where Tai comes home to look for the Eighth Child when I saw this.
