Of the two pictures you posted, this one definitely is my favorite. The color is so much more interesting to begin. It has many different shades and hues rather than just yellow and white. Also, the composition is more pleasing. When doing a picture like a sunset if you intend to have something in the foreground it is important to make sure that something adds to the pictures. Rather than just houses in the picture that do not add anything, having something like this one where the branches of the tree extend into the sunset adds to the picture. You also used Rule of Thirds well in your placement of the tree to the right, and by doing this gave a nice landscape. I would recommend if you want to get some really amazing sunset or sunrise pictures to go out of town as much as possible, or if you are in town, play with what is around you. Find a tall building to sit on and get an overview of the city before the sun, or get a street view.

This is very pretty. I love what the sky looks like as the sun is rising.

This is really beautiful! Great timing. I love that time in the morning when everythings so beautifully lit up by the sun. It's like the sky is on fire or something.
